Ultra Blue Megane R26 Clean up

  1. Last time this car was fully detailed was back in november last year and was wearing AF Tough Coat

    Started to wear off some time ago and been meaning to get it down and lay some fresh AF Illusion on it :argie:

    Lets start of with a few befores and a rinse, it wasnt that bad being washed 3 weeks ago

    Then on to the wheels with various brushes. The wheels have only been back on for a few weeks as they had been refurbed and was sealed with AF Mint Rims on the inside and Planet Polish Wheel&Seal on the outside so was just a wash down for them with VP Bilberry

    Arches and the tyres where cleaned down with G101, Wheel Woolies and a Envy Brush

    Next up was a snow foam with AF Avalanche

    All the badges/seals etc cleaned with a Valet Pro detailing brush and G101

    And rinsed off

    AF Citrus Power on the front and rear ends

    [​IMG]
    Tardis to tackle the minor tar spots i had around the car

    Iron x on the rear and lower panels that did its work but not a huge amount there

  3. Washed with Britemax Clean and Car Pro Wash Mitt

    Last Touch and Sonus Green clay

    [​IMG]
    Dried with Last touch and a Mini Blower and Towel
    [​IMG]
    As you can see i was trying out the new AF Revitalise kit

    Taped up and did a test patch but i just couldnt get any decent shots with the light i had

    Carried on a best i could as its the first time using a machine fully on a car

    With still some marks on the paint work i was happy and just have to keep at it

    BOO

    AF Illusion /Wax mate next :argie: It smells so good and spreads perfectly

    Buffed off

    AF Crystal/waffle towel on the glass

  4. AF Revive on the trims and plastics

    Britemax Twins on the exhaust

    The tips are starting to corrode and go rusty but made them better anyway

    And Good old Meguiars Tyre Gel on the tyres

    Then took it out to get it covered in bugs

  15. Cheers guys, the Af kit is very good and easy to use. That day was very hot and polish was drying out to quickly but still wasn't bad. More play time needed...

    I have no time to do mine but do quite a few other cars for people
     
  26. How can you have time to do other peoples cars but get somebody else to do yours ? Lol

  29. Looks great. Did a mini detail on mine recently, just building up all my products/equipment and will give something of this scale a go.
