I have a r26 am I right in thinking the top cambelt cover also has the fixing threads in for the coils? My threads are gone so I was thinking I could change it and get new threads. If I'm right where do I get it and any idea on price thanks
Correct however the top covers are matched to each cylinder head and swapping covers between heads is not advised. You may be better having your destroyed threads helicoiled. Another option would be to have some studs chemically welded in and then using a nylock nut and washer to hold the coils in place. Mick
