Surely though, even if your a qualified race driver you can understand the heat your getting with regards to safety and respect for the other drivers on track?

Well its a good thing you have some ability to catch oversteer!
You certainly have confidence you can recover the car from so very close to big`off` moments.

But several times it was blind luck you didn't hit the Armco.

You only have to read the youtube comments to see what people thought..

You obviously have some skill behind the wheel,but to much was placed in blind lucks hands...and that overtaking and speeding into waved yellows is a major accident waiting to happen.

Stick to proper racing mate..this sort of driving in public is only going to end one way..and lets hope you don't take others with you.

I've just watched 1.29 mins of that vid and turned it off!!!! 2 things I noticed in that time.....1 a "racing driver" would understand and respect yellow
flags and 2 you must have foreign specials made of tracing paper as tyres as that isn't normal!!!!! Nor is it skill!!!!!

 

Are you even going to address any of the issues people have with the video? 7 pages in and I don't think you've said anything about overtaking under yellow, passing on the right etc. You seem far more interested in proving you're a racing driver than confronting the issues.

Good for you if you drive based on what you can afford, but what about what those around you can afford? You might well be able to afford to crash but do you not consider how your actions might possibly impact others?

 

Fucking around in the wet on cold tyres on a public track day with so many novices around. Hmmm.Shows a lack of respect for anyone else sharing the track with you. You may know you can handle the car but others around you do not.


Overtaking on the right as the other car turns in for the corner had me clenching up.
Do you not experience many yellow flags when you race?

I personally couldn't care if you did a 6 minute lap with a puncture.

 

No one is doubting your ability to buy a £15k car or drive fast. The issue is that you think you are invincible and you have a massive ego. As good as you think you are, there are much better drivers who have had more crashes. The difference is they drive at 100% in a race with other racing drivers and not on a TF day where other motorists aren't expecting you to be driving like you do.

You have already had one crash there and haven't learned from it.

Remember, there are no winners at the Nurburgring, there are only losers. A Norwegian guy with a 911 GT2 RS who had done a 7.16 BTG told me that.
